Creamy Homemade Hummus

Hummus is a versatile and delicious dip or spread that can be enjoyed with a variety of foods. This recipe is easy to make and can be customized to your taste preferences.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (15 ounces) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 5 tablespoons reserved chickpea liquid (adjust to desired consistency)
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 whole clove of garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Optional: smoked paprika, chili powder, chopped parsley or cilantro
