Instructions:
- Marinate the Shrimp:
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and a pinch of pepper. Let it marinate for about 15 to 20 minutes while you prepare the other ingredients.
- Blanch the Green Beans:
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for about 2 minutes, until they turn bright green and are slightly tender. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
- Stir-Fry:
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Add the Shrimp:
- Add the marinated shrimp to the skillet and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes, until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Cook the Green Beans:
- In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed. Add the blanched green beans and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, until they are tender and crisp.
- Combine:
- Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet with the green beans. Add the oyster sauce and sesame oil. Stir everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Serve:
- Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
