Vegan Fudge in Minutes: A Deliciously Easy Treat!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) coconut cream
  • 1 cup (250 g) smooth almond butter (or any nut/seed butter of choice)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) maple syrup (or agave nectar)
  • 1/4 cup (30 g) cocoa powder (or cacao powder)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Optional toppings: chopped nuts, coconut flakes, chocolate chips, or dried fruit

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang to easily lift the fudge out later.
  2. Melt and Mix: In a medium saucepan, combine the coconut cream, almond butter, and maple syrup. Place the saucepan over low heat and stir constantly until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Add Cocoa and Vanilla: Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt until the mixture is smooth and fully incorporated.
  4. Pour and Set: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle any optional toppings over the top, pressing them gently into the fudge.
  5. Chill: Place the baking dish in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is firm.
  6. Cut and Serve: Once the fudge is set, lift it out of the baking dish using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into small squares and enjoy!

Storage

Store any leftover fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. For longer storage, you can freeze the fudge for up to three months.
