Strawberry Bombs – Don’t LOSE this recipe πŸ”₯

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Dough:
    Start by mixing the flour, sugar, salt, and dry yeast in a large bowl. Create a well in the center and add the egg and hot milk. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  2. Knead and Rise:
    Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it for about 5-7 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic. Place the dough back into the bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
  3. Shape and Fill:
    Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into small balls. Flatten each ball into a circle and place a spoonful of strawberry jam or fresh strawberries in the center.
  4. Form into Bombs:
    Gather the edges of the dough circle and pinch them together to seal, forming a ball with the filling inside. Make sure the seams are well sealed to prevent the filling from leaking during baking.
  5. Bake:
    Preheat your oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F). Place the filled dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each one for them to expand. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the Strawberry Bombs are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve and Enjoy:
    Remove the Strawberry Bombs from the oven and let them cool slightly on a wire rack. These treats are best enjoyed warm, perhaps with a light dusting of powdered sugar or a dollop of whipped cream.
