Cajun Pasta be Poppin’ πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ – OMG DON’T LOSE THIS πŸ˜‹

Instructions:

  1. Cooking the Proteins:
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add andouille sausage slices and cook until lightly browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  1. Preparing the Pasta:
  • Cook penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  1. Making the Sauce:
  • In the same skillet, add a bit more olive oil if needed.
  • SautΓ© onions, garlic, and bell peppers until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Season with Cajun seasoning to taste.
  • Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  • Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  1. Combining Everything:
  • Add cooked pasta, chicken, sausage, and shrimp back into the skillet with the sauce.
  • Toss gently until everything is well coated and heated through.
  1. Serve and Enjoy:
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
  • Serve Cajun Pasta hot and enjoy the burst of flavors!
