Don’t Waste Orange Peels: Make Your Own All-Natural Cleaner!

DIY Natural Household Cleaner Recipe

Wondering how to create a natural household cleaner? Here’s what you’ll need:

Ingredients:

  • 3 oranges (for degreasing)
  • 1 lemon (antibacterial and odor-fighting properties)
  • White wine vinegar (excellent cleaner, disinfectant, and limescale remover)
  • 1 empty jar
  • 1 spray bottle

Instructions:

  1. Begin by juicing the oranges and lemon, setting aside the peels.
  2. Notice the leftover citrus oils in the peels? That’s the base for your cleaner!
  3. Take a jar and cut the peels into small pieces. Fill the jar with the peels, pressing them down if needed, and pour enough vinegar to cover the peels up to the jar’s rim.
  4. Seal the jar and store it away from light for 2 weeks. This allows the citrus peels to infuse with the vinegar, releasing beneficial elements for the cleaner.
  5. After 2 weeks, strain the liquid and discard the peels. Pour the citrus-infused vinegar into a spray bottle.
  6. Now, use this natural cleaner on any surface, including stainless steel. You’ll be amazed by the results and the pleasant scent it leaves behind!

Feel free to experiment with other citrus fruits like tangerines or grapefruits. Enjoy your cleaning!

Can you use just regular white vinegar?
